Students changing or adding a major in BSOS must meet with their respective BSOS departments PRIOR to attending an online or in-person Graduation Planning Workshop.

If you have not met with a major advisor please find their contact information. Please note, some departments have a major change workshop. Departmental advisors will review major specific requirements at this time. Major specific requirements are not covered in the Graduation Planning Workshops.

Students can view a pre-recording of the Graduation Planning Workshop or attend a Zoom session hosted by a BSOS Peer Mentor.

Please register below for either the virtual workshop where students can participate in a synchronous Zoom meeting by clicking a date on the calendar, or the pre-recorded workshop titled "Online Workshop" below.

If you are a First Semester BSOS student, please submit your completed Graduation Plan to firstsemgradplan@umd.edu.

If you are changing your major, submit the Change/Addition of Major form with a completed Graduation Plan to bsosmajorchange@umd.edu.
